Elliott Herman Havard

Elliott Herman “Tink” Havard, age 61, passed away August 29, 2020. He worked as a Boilermaker for 33 years and was a member of Local 110 and a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. His time was mostly spent fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He enjoyed farming, spoiling grand kids and tinkering. His greatest joy was witnessing to others. He was a loving husband, father, Pawpaw, brother and friend who will be greatly missed.         

He is proceeded in death by parents, Maurice Allen and Nell Ree Cochran Havard; brother, Roger Allen Havard; sister, Rebecca Ann Hays.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Sondria Howell Havard; children, Rachel (Dustin) Howell, Jessica Stewart and Lance (Leanna) Havard; grandchildren, Jasmine, Jaylynn, Levi, Kaci, Brannen, Damion, Zxander, Dalton, Cameron, Kaydon, AnneLeigh, Kelanie and Scarlett; siblings, Earl (Debra) Havard, Debbie (Roger) Temple and Jennifer (Ronnie) Prine; Elliott always embraced life’s unexpected gifts and in the process gained three extended children whom he greatly adored, Joseph Stewart, Charlie and Kim Cone; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.       

The Wake for Mr. Elliott Havard will be Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 AM in the church sanctuary Monday, August 31, 2020 with Bro. Jeff Bass officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers include Charlie Cone, Trent Bond, Joseph Stewart, Nick Guin, Lee Langley and Matt Reeves. Honorary pallbearers include Dewayne Havard, Wayne Havard, Donnis Guin and Brannen Stewart.
