Elaine Miller Leggett, age 57, passed away December 1, 2021. She was a member of Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church, where she served with her husband in multiple ministry roles. She also participated in many community outreach projects including prison ministry, recovery ministry and helping the homeless. She was a devoted wife, dedicated mother, loving Granny, sister and friend to many. Her loving spirit will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert “Pee Wee” Miller and Mary Jane Davis Miller; step-mother, Annie Marie Miller; siblings, Dianne Strahan and Christie Ann Miller.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Curtis Leggett; children, Ken (Lauren) Leggett, Deryk Whigham, Lainey (Josh) Havard, Kenneth “C.J.” Leggett and Cameron (Caylee) Duke; grandchildren, Christian Whigham, Mason Leggett, Luke Havard, Peyton Leggett and Landon Havard; siblings, Robert (Peggy) Miller, Christine Miller Weiland, Teresa (Melton) Tilley, Steve (Tonya) Miller, Dixie (William) Davis, Teresa Hobby and Dayton (Deanna) Holland; dearest aunt and best friend, Rosie (Wayne) Pierce; step-mother, Brenda Miller; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation for Elaine Miller Leggett will be Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM at Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 1:00 PM in the church sanctuary with Bro. Warren Slay and Bro. Heath Havard officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church cemetery. Pallbearers include Matt Helms, Josh Havard, Chase Miller, Justin Miller, Lester Miller and Colby Henderson. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jack Miller. .
