Dustin Cale Dearmon

Dustin Dearmon, age 37, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2020. He was a 2001 graduate from George County High School. He was a talented guitar player and greatly enjoyed listening to all genres of music. He was also a talented painter and produced several pieces of beautiful art. Dustin was an outdoor enthusiast, loved to read and was very knowledgeable in several subjects. He also enjoyed watching baseball and football and heavily favored the Steelers. He loved his nieces and nephews like they were his own kids. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and dear friend whose constant words of wisdom will be greatly missed.          

He is preceded in death by his Grandfathers, Elmer “Red” Dearmon, Metro Howell, Sr. and Willie G. Pitts.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Eddie and Kenetha Pitts; sisters, Teresa Pitts, Daisha (Jason) Cronier and Brooke (Jonathan) Greer; nieces and nephews, Randi (Charlie) Bennett, Parker Cox, Peyton Cox, Easton Cronier, Nataleigh Greer, Rylie Cronier, Canaan Greer and Meredith Greer; great nieces, Charlie “Bea” Bennett and Kylar Bennett; grandmothers, Lorene Dearmon, Evelyn Howell and Delores Pitts; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.   

The Visitation for Dustin Dearmon will be Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, September 30, 2020 beginning at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Brandon Davis and Bro. Heath Havard officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery.  Pallbearers include Adam Cochran, Brock Cochran, Derek Cochran, Luke Cochran, Seth Nelson and Eric Webb. Honorary Pallbearers include Rodney King and Eddie Shoemaker.
