Dorsey Calvin Crocker, age 82, passed away peacefully December 7, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was a 1957 Graduate of Leakesville High School. He proudly served in the National Guard Army at a young age. He worked for many years for Scott Paper Company, Ingalls Shipbuilding and retired after several years in construction work. He also spent time lately farming. He loved music and was a talented singer and songwriter. He was a loving husband, father, Pawpaw and brother. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John M. Crocker, Sr. and Mildred Laurine McLeod Crocker; siblings, John Milton, Jr. Crocker, James Lavern Crocker, Donald Crocker, Graham Crocker, Willie G. Griffin, Marilyn Dueitt and Melba Beech.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Evelyn L. Dikinson Crocker; son, Robert (Courtney) Miller; grandchildren, Alexis Miller and Bayleigh Miller; sister, Nell (Kenneth) Long; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation for Dorsey Crocker will be Monday, December 14, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. James Bice officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
