Dorothy Jenelle Coats

Dorothy Jenelle Coats, age 69, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023.           

She is preceded in death by her son, Billy Jason Harrell; parents, Milton Fletcher Peavy and Dorothy Utley; siblings, Carolyn Davis, Betty Honeycut, Hazel Smith, Wanda Stamps, Inet Sanders, infant brother, Billy Ray.      

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, John Coats; daughters, LaRae Boykin, Jenelle Lyn Jeter and Nickie Stringer; son, Johnathan Dale Harrell; step-son, Martelli Dunran “Boo” Coats; grandchildren, Nicholas Holliman, Deanna Marie Holliman, Jared Michael Jeter, Reno Reynolds, Kadeshia Riley, Reagan Harrell, Dagon Harrell, Brandon Gautier, Amber Cheatwood, Joshua Gram, Tracey Johnson, Brent Rowe, Carmen Reynolds; 16 Great Grandchildren; siblings, Pat O’Brien, Shelia Thornburg, Man Peavy; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Visitation for Dorothy Jenelle Coats will be Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Valhalla Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama.
