Doris Evelyn Daniels

Doris Evelyn Daniels, 91, passed away September 1, 2024. She was a long-time resident of Leakesville who greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren.               

She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, James Wheeler Daniels; sons, James Larry Daniels, Steven Daniels, and infant son, Darrel Daniels; daughter, Rhonda Daniels; parents, Claude and Lena Brown; brothers, Ted Brown, Luke Brown, Jimmy Brown, Bobby Brown.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Kenny Daniels, and Joe Lecates; grandchildren, Vickie Byrd, Jay Daniels, Robin Daniels, Derek Daniels, Christy Turner, Rachel Gibson, Jennifer Sanders, and Zachary Daniels; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.      

The visitation will be Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Russell Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Pisgah Pentecostal Cemetery.
