Donnie Sue Cumberland

Donnie Sue Jones Cumberland, age 81, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026. Donnie greatly enjoyed her years cooking at Landmark Café, where she became well known for her delicious dishes (gumbo) and the care she put into every meal she prepared. She had a love for traveling and especially cherished her time spent at the beach and in the mountains. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, loving mother, proud maw maw and dear friend to many who will be greatly missed.        

She is preceded in death by her husband and father to her children, Buck Cumberland; husband, Ernest Cumberland; parents, Jennie Jones Rouse and Bill (Marie) Jones; grandson, Bart Tanner; other siblings, aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Theresa (Keith) Tanner, Lesia (Gary) Davis, Bucky (Krystal) Cumberland, Joe (Marci) Cumberland, Carolyn (Michael) Pitts; grandchildren, Kristen (Preston) Havens, Derek (Kamary) Gibson, Benji (Chelsea) Gibson, Cole (Ashlyn) Gibson, Daniel (Brittney) Cumberland, Gracie Cumberland, Maddie Cumberland and Emilee (Logan) Parker; 20 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, numerous step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, numerous other relatives, and friends.    

The Graveside Service will be Saturday, February 14, 2026 beginning at 10:00 AM at Magnolia Garden Cemetery with Bro. Ken Hembree officiating.
