Donald Keith Davis

Donald Keith Davis, age 53, passed away October 1, 2021.

There are not enough words in the English language to adequately describe Keith.  He was beyond a great man.  He was one of a kind.  He loved farming and watching his hard work grow into something delicious to eat.  He loved taking care of all the hundreds of hummingbirds that come to visit every year.  He loved romantic "chick flick" movies.  He loved his wife and family passionately.  Even if he did not say it all the time, he showed it and proved it everyday.  He was not perfect and he never claimed to be.  He had the kindest, gentlest soul.  As long as you were kind to him, he was kind to you.  He was hard working, brilliant and a natural born teacher.  He was such a goofball sometimes.  He loved to come up with ways to pick at or aggravate his family and friends.   He loved to laugh and to have others laugh with him. He greatly enjoyed his time spent serving the community as a Registered Nurse.  His last day was spent the way he wanted.  He was so happy and kept saying what a beautiful day it was.  It was a beautiful day for him because he was able to leave this earthly world to be in Heaven with our Father God.  He has left every person that truly knew him better than they were before.  

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Rayborn Davis; maternal grandparents, Ernest and Clara Rouse Snelgrove; paternal grandparents, Otto and Eva Miller Davis.   

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Suzanne Davis; children, Michael Orion Seal, Kayli Thornton and Hunter Seal; mother, Gean and Benson Bexley; sister, Evie Davis (Tim) Sullivan; nieces, Kristin Blue (Justin) Finley, Lynnsey Blue and Lauren Blue; parents-in-law, Sherry (Paul) Chisholm.             

The Visitation for Keith Davis will be Monday, October 4, 2021 at Moments Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, October 5, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery.
