Donald L Allums

Donald L. Allums was born on Thursday, Oct. 03, 1929 and passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at his home in Leakesville, MS, at the age of 93.

He was a member of Leakesville Missionary Baptist Church. He was a minister as well as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jammie Allums; parents, James and Lena Allums ; Son, Ronald L. Allums; siblings, Jamie T. Allums, Olive Burton, Guyton Allums, Alva Allums, Bettye J. Platt and Nanette Breland.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Jimmy (Lauren) and Timmy (Carla) Allums; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday April 28, 2023 with visitation from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Leakesville Missionary Baptist Church.  The funeral will begin at 11:00 AM with Bro. Gerald Givens officiating. Interment will be in the Westerfield Cemetery. The pallbearers include Austin Allums, Adrian Allums, Derick Turner, JT Dunnam, Morris Ray Everette, and Jasper Everett. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Pipkins and his three sons, Auston, Weston and Jake.
