Don L McLeod

Don L McLeod, age 75, passed away April 29, 2021. He worked for many years as a Shipfitter. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 64. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed working in his yard and helping others in the community. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, PawPaw, brother and friend.          

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernice and Clara McLeod; brothers, Scotchie, Oscar, Lamar and Alton McLeod; grandson, Don Charles Jeremy Dixon.   

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 55 years, Helen Ruth Crocker McLeod; children, Renee (James) Green, Orland (Sunday) McLeod, Regina (Ricky) Reynolds and Selina (Jason) Pierce; 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many others that called him daddy.                        

The Visitation for Don L McLeod will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mark Guy officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
