Dollie Stringer

Dollie Stringer, age 90, passed away peacefully in her home August 14, 2023 surrounded by her family. She greatly enjoyed quilting, embroidery, ceramics and crafting. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend who will be greatly missed.   

She is preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Buckley Stringer; parents, Irvin Holland and Sarah Lee Holland; sister, Ruth Gray.  

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Terry (Donna) Stringer, Arthur (Yaping) Stringer, Jimmy (Sue) Stringer and Roy Stringer; sister, Nellie Ham; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, numerous other relatives and friends.   

The Visitation will be Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home, Leakesville. The Funeral Service will be Monday, August 21, 2023 beginning at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Skip Holland officiating. Burial will follow in McLeod-Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers include Terry Stringer, Arthur Stringer, Jimmy Stringer, Roy Stringer, Christopher Stringer and Daniel Stringer. Honorary pallbearer will be John Breeden.
