Deborah Muriel Parker

Deborah Muriel Parker, age 65, passed away September 30, 2023.            

She was a life-long resident of Wade, MS, where she graduated from East Central High School in 1976.  Deborah was a proud homemaker who loved her family dearly, but what Deborah loved most was to see a happy child.  Along with raising her children, she watched and loved countless other children.

She is preceded in death by her father, Larry Davis; grandparents, Robin and Etoile Parker, Robert Davis, Susie and Jay Diamond; In-laws, Nell Garrison, Charles D. Parker, Madonna and Vaden “Son” Jackson.   

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 38 years, Charles “Peanut” Parker; children, Charles N. Parker, Jr, Rachel (Dustin) Kennedy; mother, Carolyn Davis; special grandson, Dalton Kennedy; sisters, Vondal (John) Overstreet and Cynthia Dueitt; brother-in-law, Donnie Dueitt; long-time friend, Lynn Parker Hutcherson; numerous other relatives and friends.    

The Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will immediately follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Wade, Mississippi with Bro. Chad Bowen officiating. Pallbearers include Russell Johnson, Byron Johnson, DD Scarbrough, Kent “Dog” Edmonds, Vincent Adkinson and Harold (Robbie) Baria.
