David Wayne Buckhalter

David Wayne Buckhalter, age 64, passed away January 17, 2026.  A much loved brother, father, uncle and friend, David "Buck" will be remembered for his stories, jokes and his love of music.  He enjoyed doing landscaping, listening to music and being with his family.  David's laughter, loyalty and easygoing spirit will stay with us forever.

He is preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Barrow; parents, Robert Buckhalter and Norma Beard; brothers, Truman Buckhalter and Michael Buckhalter; sister-in-law, Wanda Buckhalter Rogers.    

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister-in-law, Sandra Buckhalter Clark; Nephews, Brian Buckhalter, Stephen (Tiffany) Buckhalter, Chris (Cheri) Buckhalter, and Jason (Andrea) Buckhalter; nieces, Kelly (Timmy) Loper, Brandy (Taylor) Strain, and Megan Buckhalter Dixon; numerous great nieces, great nephews, one great-great niece, other relatives and friends.    

A combined memorial service for David Buckhalter and Michael Buckhalter will be held at a later date.
