David Quitman Allgood

David Quitman Allgood, age 71, passed away January 16, 2022. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. His hobbies included tinkering on machines. His greatest joy was time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis Lee Allgood and Clara Sue Mangrum Allgood; sons, Charles Allgood and David Quitman Allgood, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Richard Elms and Pat Davis.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Stacy (Debra) Allgood, David (Alisha) Allgood, Melton Lee (Destinee) Allgood and Sarah Lee Martinez; grandchildren, Dusty (Carmen) Allgood, Dillon Allgood, Hannah Allgood, Julianne Allgood, Jaydyn Allgood, John Allgood, Preston Allgood and Jasmine Allgood; great grandson, Ryder Allgood; siblings, Louise (Richard) Tillman, Lois Elms, Sonny (Lillie) Allgood, Patsy Davis, Jack (Norma) Allgood, Charles (Jane) Allgood and Jimmy (Madonna) Allgood; girlfriend, Teresa Pitts; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.          

The Visitation for David Allgood will be Friday, January 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bruce McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in Barton Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brandon Parker, Kase Allgood, Doug Allgood, Ric Fairley, Gary Allgood, Austin Fairley and Dewayne Allgood.
