Dannie Lou Lara

Dannie Lou “Bit” Lara, age 69, of Deer Park, Alabama passed away January 8, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 6, 1952 in Greene County, Mississippi.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Alph and Norma Lee Baxter; sister, Joyce Faye Baxter Anderson.    

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Victor Manuel Lara; mother-in-law, Manuela Lara; children, Danniel Davis Crimm, Carmen (Crystal Ballance) Martinez, Walter (Rhonda) Davis, William (Lindsey) Davis; grandchildren, Samantha (Dylan) Hobby, Juan (Malerie) Davis, Tate (Jordan) Davis, Selina Martinez, Makayla Williamson, Rebekah (Zachary) Weaver, Gabby Davis, Dominic Young, Declan Ballance, Bobby Ballance, Kalee Parnell, Madison Davis, Emily Davis and William Davis, Jr.; great grandchildren, Brooks Hobby, Gannon Hobby, Andalyn Hobby, Easton Davis, Emma Davis and Elena Davis, Landen Davis, Everleigh Davis and Jourdan Paul Weaver; sisters, Carolyn (George) Henderson and Sherry (Scott) Williamson; numerous other relatives and friends.               

The Visitation for Dannie Lara will be Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Moments Funeral Home, Lucedale, Mississippi from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in the funeral home chapel beginning at 11:00 AM with Bro. Bobbie Tribble officiating. Dannie Lara will be laid to rest in Okwakee Cemetery in Deer Park, Alabama. Pallbearers include Juan Davis, Tate Davis, Dylan Hobby, Zachary Weaver, Scott Williamson and Phillip Henderson. Honorary Pallbearers include Walter Davis and William Davis.
