Daniel Shmidt

Daniel Shmidt, age 62, passed away July 29, 2024 while working in Italy. He proudly served in the United States Navy. After retiring from the military, he continued his service as an electrical engineer. He was also a longtime member of the MS Gulf Coast Corvette Club. A loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, his fun loving personality will be greatly missed.                    

He is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley and Gerald Shmidt; cousin, Mark Shmidt.    

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Samantha (Erik); grandchildren, Olivia, Makenzie, Kaelyn, and CJ; siblings, Timothy Shmidt, Mark Shmidt, and Ruth Flemming; numerous other relatives and friends.
