Daniel Goldman

Daniel David Goldman, age 74, passed away peacefully October 17, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was a 1966 graduate of Moss Point High School and proudly served in the United States Marines. He worked hard for many years as a Hull General Superintendent for Ingalls Shipbuilding. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching westerns and the weather channel. His greatest time was spent with family, griping and telling fairytales to the grandkids. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend.             

He is preceded in death by his parents, William J. Goldman and Lois Holliman Goldman; parents-in-law, Maurice D. Myers and Ruby P. Myers; sister-in-law, Linda Goldman; brother-in-law, Wayne Gregory; grandchildren, David Lee Morris, Cassidy Jean Morris and Nicholas Alexander Morris.    

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 51 years, Jean Myers Goldman; children, Sonya D. (Jason) Williams, Jennifer R. (Todd) Morris and Daniel D. Goldman; grandchildren, Trevor (Danielle) Morris, Daniel D. (Addie) Goldman, III, Amber Goldman, Grace Williams, Todd Allen Morris, Jr. and Oliver Claiborne Morris; great grandchild, Trevor “Andy” Morris, Jr and baby girl Goldman due March 2024; siblings, William J. Goldman, Jr., Wanda G. (Rusty) Winfree and Deborah (John) Craig; brothers-in-law, Sam (Marsha) Myers and Robert (Kelly) Myers; numerous beloved uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.        

The Visitation will be Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers include his grandchildren, Trevor A. Morris, Daniel D. Goldman, III, Amber C. Goldman, Grace M. Williams, Todd Allen Morris, Jr and Oliver Claiborne Morris. Honorary Pallbearer will be the great grandson, Trevor “Andy” Morris, Jr.
