Clyde "Randy" Dulaney Obituary

Clyde “Randy” Randal Dulaney, of Leakesville, MS, passed away on January 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Randy was born on May 12, 1960, and was the devoted husband of Denise Dulaney for 42 years. He was the proud father of three daughters, Brandy, Jodie (John) Santalla, and Sara (Zack) Daniels, who were his world. His grandchildren, David (Sierra, Nathaniel & Ellie), Matthew, Noah, Andrew, Amara, LeighAnna, Randyn, Zaleigh, and Jaiden, were the light of his life, along with Luna, his beloved dog who he treated like one of his own.

Randy is also survived by his mother, Betty Dulaney; his siblings, Janice Dulaney and Jimmy Dulaney; father and mother-in-law, Dennis and Mary Busby; and in-laws, Tressa (Donna Thornhill) Busby, Kim (Lonnie) Dewberry, and Donna (Gene) Boyd, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Randy served in the Coast Guard and went on to have a prolific career in the Oil Industry as a Chief Engineer. He was exceptional in many trades, known for his outstanding work ethic and craftsmanship in everything he did. Randy enjoyed quiet mornings on his porch with a cup of coffee, watching the deer and soaking in the beauty of nature. He also loved to make his famous homemade pizza and the best biscuits and gravy, always with a good joke and a smile. For two years, Randy fought bravely against cancer, with incredible strength and determination. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Gentiva Hospice, especially Kristy, for her gentle and compassionate care during his final days.

Randy is now at peace, reunited with his father, Phoenix Dulaney; his brother, Bobby Dulaney; his nephews, James Clark and Jeremy Dulaney; his beloved grandparents; and his uncle, Jeff Dulaney. While he may no longer be with us, his love, humor, and spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
