Clifton Leroy Dickerson

Clifton L. Dickerson, "Clif", passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Lucedale, MS after a long fight with complications of diabetes. 

Clif truly enjoyed being able to get out and tinker on things, work, socialize, and be among the people he loved. There was never anything he could not fix (or unhook). Clif spent many years working in George and Greene County in Mississippi in construction then left to go to Crowne Healthcare in Citronelle, AL. Clif made many friends along his journey and never met a stranger. Always the practical joker, he never left without leaving you laughing.

Clif is the son of Clarence and Wilma Wuadeen Whitaker who preceded him in death.  His brother Clarence Alan preceded him in death.
Clif is survived by his wife, Diona (nee Parker), and his two sons Aaron and Parker Dickerson. Three siblings, Paul , Pamela, and Cynthia. A special aunt, Phyllis(nee Dickerson)Tolbert is further left to mourn Clif's passing.  Clif is also survived by numerous cousins, neices and nephews, and truly close friends who will miss him dearly.

The Visitation for Clifton Dickerson will be Friday, October 22, 2021 at Moments Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be Friday, October 22, 2021 beginning at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery in Lucedale, Mississippi.
