Clayton Anthony Howell Obituary

Clayton Anthony Howell, age 50, passed away on August 5, 2026. Clayton found his greatest happiness in the outdoors, where he loved hunting, fishing, and spending time boating on the river. Whether casting a line, enjoying the peaceful water, or sharing adventures with family and friends, he cherished every moment spent in nature. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and the many memories he created with those who knew and loved him.


He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Clayton Howell, Vivian Lucille Howell (Lloyd) Perry, Ray L. Childress, Sr., Janet Williamson Childress; infant grandson, Clayton Laine Howell.


Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Felechia R. Howell; children, J. Dalton Howell, Clayton A. Parrent (Chasity) Howell, Kyliee R. Howell, and Ryver Hicks; step-children, Joshua Havard and Alyssa H. Bradley; grandchildren, Kayden Laine Howell, Waylon Kristopher Howell, Keaston La’Chance Davis, Korie Bradley, Jaidence Bradley, Kassidy Bradley, and Jaivyn Bradley; parents, Jerry B. Howell and Jan Childress Howell; sister, Angie D. Howell (Joel) Murrah; nephew, Conner Murrah; niece, Kinsey Murrah; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.     


The Visitation will be Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Stephen Crigler officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery.
