Carol Lynne Lancaster, age 80, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026. Lynne was a lifelong believer and devoted follower of Jesus Christ. She was a committed wife to Jim for sixty-two years, a loving mother to her two sons, and a cherished Nana to her four grandchildren. Lynne dedicated nearly forty years of service to the community through the United Way of Southwest Alabama, where she served in numerous capacities, including Executive Director.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Lois Breland.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Jesse “Jim” Lancaster Jr; sons, Greg (Shar) Lancaster, and Brian (Jennifer) Lancaster; grandchildren, Lauren (Camden) Skipper, Jack Lancaster, Jillian Lancaster, and Clayton Lancaster; sister, Adele (Jack) Clark and numerous other relatives and friends. She will be deeply missed.
The Visitation will be Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Barry Jemison officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jack Lancaster, Clayton Lancaster, Camden Skipper, Cooper Whatley, Shannon Goff, and Trent Howell.
