Brenda Gail Baucom

Brenda Gail Baucom, age 79, passed away April 10, 2026. She was a devoted wife who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved photography and painting, capturing beauty and expressing her creativity. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking, always caring for those around her and making others feel loved and at home. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Doris Hughey Toop; stepfather, Harold V. Toop; father, William D. Hughey; brother, David Hughey; son, Robert Clayton Ellingwood.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles Houston Baucom, Jr.; sons, Christopher David Ellingwood and James Bogle, Jr.; numerous other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Roberts Chapel beginning at 11:00 AM. The Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00 PM. Lunch will be served afterwards. Casual dress, please.
