Brayden Thomas Williams, age 16, went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2025. He was an active member of the George County Historical Society. He enjoyed collecting coins, trains, battleships, cigarette cards, and historical memorabilia. He also enjoyed singing karaoke and had a great love for animals. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Benndale, a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, and friend in the community who will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Buddy and Mary Frances Ainsworth, Harold and Helen Williams; maternal grandmother, Jennifer “Gronnie” Huffmaster; maternal great grandparents, Howard and Elsie “Nanny” Wilson; uncle, Ronnie Dean Martin.
Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Nathan (Samantha) Williams, mother, Anna (Justin) Hargrove; brother, Carter Bug; Grandparents, David and Lorraine Williams, Paul Huffmaster; aunts and uncles, Elen (Thomas) Moore, Heath Williams, Griffin (Shayna) Williams, Dessie (Ed) Holder, Leslie Shows; cousins, Dusty Moore, Gus Moore, Josie Moore, Jace Trevino, Jade Williams, Jaleigh Williams, Jaxen Williams, Jakin Williams, Amber (Cameron) Harrington, Lisa Holliman, Justin Holder, Kaylee Holder, Morgan Holder, Jim Wesley Shows, Jill Ashley (Clint) Testerman, Sayla Harrington, Hannah Harringon, Joshua Harrington, Charlie Testerman; numerous other family and friends.
The Visitation will be Wednesday, June 25, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Benndale. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the church sancturary with Bro. Nathan Seal, Bro. Alfred Quave and Bro. Randy Ivey officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Family Cemetery. Pallbearers include Johnny Runnels, Kelly Caffey, Jim Wesley Shows, B.B. Williams, Cleston Williams, Rob Maples, Scott Bond and John Howard Currie. Honorary pallbearers include Carter Hargrove and Justin Holder.
