Brandon Delano Murrah

Brandon Delano Murrah, a brave 14 year old, peacefully in his mother's arms met with Jesus on October 8, 2021 after a long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Childhood Cancer. Brandon was a member of Abundant Grace Apostolic in Lucedale, Mississippi and an Honor class freshman at George County High School. He respected and backed Law Enforcement, wanting to be in Law Enforcement one day. Although, his true love was animals, with huge dreams of becoming a Veterinarian one day. He never met a stranger, he would make friends with people easily using his caring heart and his witty personality. He had a smile and a laugh that was infectious and will not be forgotten. You could find him snuggled with his dog, Kemo Jude, playing video games until someone mentioned going fishing.

He is survived by his parents Carrina & Brian Murrah; his Special Lady, Shelby Riddle; Grandparents Mitchell (Terrie) Mixon, Leslie (Bobby) Ford, Elizabeth Whatley; Great Grandparents Jacqueline Brown and Melinda McCardle; a Host of loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins; Best Friends that were more like family Carlie Herrington and Brayden Wilson; a Multitude of caring St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital staff, fellow Childhood Cancer Warriors and Families.

Brandon's life will be Honored on Saturday, October 16, 2021. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM, with the Service to follow at 12:00 PM at Lighthouse Worship Center, 18194 Hwy 26 W Lucedale, MS 39452. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. 

Brandon loved people for who they were, not for what they did or had, please come in what makes you comfortable. Due to Covid, if you would like to wear a mask for safety, please do so.
