Bonnie Jean Helton Turner, age 82 of Leakesville, passed from this life Tuesday, January 3, 2023. She was a member of Canaan Land United Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Chandler Tillman and Ronald Anthony Crabtree, II; parents, Gerald Hovatter and Lottie Green; four brothers, Buddy Hovatter, Pete Hovatter, Jerry Hovatter and Greg Hovatter; two sisters, Wilma Helton and Judy Holder.
Those left to cherish her are her children, four daughters, Linda (Robert) Furby, DeLois Howell, Latishea (Toney) Crabtree and LaGradis (Fiancé, Randy Shirley) Turner; three sons, Glenn “Eddie” (Jean) Tillman, Nolan (Bridget) Tillman and Van (Mechelle) Helton; siblings, brother, Jimmy Green; six sisters, Sue (Leonard) Riles, Peggy McNider, Bleandia Dixon Grimes, Martina (Mark) Jamieson, Tammy Goldman and Becky (Reggie) Bradley; stepmother, Ruby Reed; one very special nephew, Tracy Hovatter; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home, Leakesville. The Funeral Service will be Friday, January 6, 2023 beginning at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. David Clark and Bro. Irvis Dale Everette officiating. Burial will follow at McLeod-Magnolia Cemetery. Pallbearers include her Grandsons Glenn Tillman, Mark Dixon, Jake Helton, Jessie Crabtree, Dillon Breland and Nephew Tracy Hovatter.
