Bobby O'Neal Hinton

Bobby O. Hinton, age 86, a lifelong resident of the George County and Tanner Williams communities, departed this life Sunday, May 14, 2023.  Bobby was the owner of J & B Feed in Lucedale, Mississippi.  He was a lifetime member of the Tanner Williams Assembly of God Church and he proudly served in the US National Guard.  Bobby enjoyed going to car shows, fishing, gardening, and talking to his cows.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lydia Hinton and his siblings, Bardia, Wayne “Duggar” and Rocky Dale Hinton. 

Bobby is survived by his wife of 63 years, Carol Estis Hinton; his children, Keith (Paula), Kent, Mark and Stacie (Susie) Hinton; grandchildren, Paulina (William) Bexley, Kayne, Journey and Hannah Kate Hinton.  He is also survived by his sister, Patsy (John) Fincher and his brother, James Jr. “Hooney” (Joyce) Hinton, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and family.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 at Freedom House Church (formerly Tanner Williams Assembly of God Church) from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.  The funeral will be at 12:00 PM.  A graveside service will follow at Joyner Cemetery.  Bro. Donnie Williamson and Bro. Brandon Davis will officiate the service.  Pallbearers are Kayne Hinton, William Bexley, John Hinton, Rodney Hinton, Chad Fincher and Chance Hinton.  Honorary pallbearers are Gillary Tanner, Terry Estis and JV Jordan.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Freedom House Church, 14440 Tanner Williams Road, Wilmer, AL  36587.
