Billy Windell Dean

Billy Windell Dean, age 79, passed away April 27, 2026. He was an outdoorsman who found great joy in hunting and fishing, always happiest when spending time in nature. Above all, he was a beloved father and grandfather who cherished his family deeply. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Olean Dean; siblings, Carolyn King, James Dean, and Shirley Parker; great grandson, Owen Howe.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Dewayne (Holly) Dean and Mindy (Blake) Bracken; sister, Valinda McLeod; grandchildren, Hayden Dean, Ethan Dean, Garrett Dean, Mindy Dean, Alyssa Stubbs, Nicole Beck, Jackson Houston, and Jordan Houston; great grandchildren, Levi Harris, Silvia Beck, Weslyn Stewart, Hallee Jo Dean, Eleanor Howe, and Chaselyn Braddock; numerous other relatives and friends.

There will be a memorial service held on Friday, May 8, 2026 beginning at 2:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Dean officiating.
