Bernard Brewer

Bernard Ray Brewer, age 80, passed away November 18, 2023. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and spent time in Vietnam. He continued his service to the community through the Department of Transportation for many years. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and brother who will be missed.               

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Haskell and Ruth Simmons Brewer.       

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 57 years, Sharon Brewer; children, Tessa Michelle (John) Clark and Darrell (Ronda) Brewer; grandchildren, Damon (Ciara) Brewer, Garrett (Dara) Brewer and JC Clark; great grandchildren, A.C. Brewer and Daci Brewer; siblings, Dwain (Warrene) Brewer, Wanda (John) Pierce, Sharon Nixon and Jackie Burnett; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.      

The Visitation will be Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home in Leakesville. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Irvis Everett and Bro. Owen Eubanks officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. Pallbearers include Michael Berry, Lane Brewer, Patrick Noblitt, Damon Brewer, Garrett Brewer and Billy Wayne Miller. John Charles Clark will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
