Daughter, mother, and meme Belinda Ann Prentiss Weathersby’s love for her children, grandchildren, sisters, and brother did not come to an end with her death. Belinda passed away peacefully on March 11, 2022, at the age of 61. Belinda was born on April 24th, 1960, in Wiesbaden, Germany.
On her homecoming day she was surrounded by her children Ricky Longmire, Misty Daniels (Derek Daniels), Ryan Longmire (Ashley Longmire), and Jurgen Weathersby. On her homecoming day Belinda was able to reunite with her father Ronnie (Tommy) Prentiss and mother Waltraud (Oma) Prentiss whom both predeceased her. Belinda had three siblings Cathie Smith (Kenny Smith), Ronnie Prentiss (Janice Prentiss), and Vesta Lowe. When it came to grandchildren Belinda had plenty to spoil and love: (Ricky Longmire) Brenton Longmire, Landon Longmire, Mia Longmire, (Derek and Misty Daniels) Dalton Daniels, Katelyn Daniels, Caiden Daniels, Chloe Daniels, Greyson Daniels, (Ryan and Ashley Longmire) Joseph Longmire and Amelia Longmire.
Belinda loved God and life; and she lived her life unselfishly and to fullest extent possible. She was always ready for the next adventure with family and friends or she was completely comfortable sitting in silence, either in person or on the phone, with the ones she loved the most.
Once she had her grandchildren, Belinda dedicated her life to being the greatest meme the world has ever known! She was always kind hearted and loving, and she would open her home, heart, and resources to anyone that came into her life. Her unselfish love and kind heartedness will live through her children and grandchildren. Belinda’s legacy and memories will be cherished and carried forward by her children and grandchildren indefinitely.
Belinda is renowned for being the hardest worker that anyone has ever had the blessing to witness. She worked any job and took on any job to support and care for her children and grandchildren. Belinda enjoyed working and more than anything she enjoyed spending her money on everyone but herself. Her work ethic and caring heart will endure generations. Her life and death are both a testament to how hard she worked.
Belinda experienced great joy by always having something in hand for her children and grandchildren even when they would tell her they did not want anything. Belinda was a giver that never expected anything in return. Her children and grandchildren will cherish her life and memories by always choosing to give more than they take, loving each other unconditionally, caring for each other unselfishly, and always choosing to forgive.
