Winford Bearld Harvison, 77, passed away on March 19, 2026.
A proud 1967 graduate of Sandhill High School, Bearld went on to serve his country after being drafted into the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany. He carried that sense of duty and dedication throughout his life.
Bearld had a deep love for deer hunting and cherished the time he spent outdoors. Known for his generous spirit, he always felt a calling to help others and giving was truly his gift. He touched many lives through his kindness.
He was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a caring brother and friend. Bearld will be remembered for his warm heart, selflessness, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Ann Harvison Brondum; parents, James Savage Harvison and Melba Aliece Smith Harvison; siblings, Opal Walley, Gerald Harvison, and Katherine Goff.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Velma Brown Harvison; son, Jeremy (Stacy) Harvison; grandchildren, Jessica and Drake Harvison, and Faith and Charity Brondum; siblings, Faye Breland and Ruby Sullivan; numerous other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home, Leakesville. The Funeral Service will be Friday, March 27, 2026 beginning at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the Harvison Family Cemetery.
