Autumn Dawn Bond

Autumn Dawn Bond departed for heaven on May 15, 2021. 

Autumn was born on October 4, 1978. She was a free spirit that could not be contained by the traditional roles of society. She loved people and animals and could often be found rescuing both. She loved to be outside: hunting, fishing, and enjoying the sun. Once, while fishing with her grandfather at age 5, Autumn felt a fish on the line and yelled “You hold him and I’ll wind him!" She enjoyed riding her motorcycle taking in the open road. She leaves behind a legacy of generosity, kindness, and never meeting a stranger.

Autumn is survived by her two children Winnie and Rebekah; mother, Rhonda Dueitt and father Michael Dueitt. She has surviving aunts: Sue Kittrell, Katie "Polly" Hill, Faye Bond, Mary Webb, and Celeste "Josie” Girouard (Rodney Girouard) and Uncle Brian Dueitt. Autumn touched many lives and leaves behind too many loved ones to name.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ezra and Winnie Bond; paternal grandparents, Ben and Maxine Dueitt; maternal siblings, Vondell Lowe, Charlie "Jack" Bond, and Ed Bond. She is reunited with cousins Don Gilman, Audrey Enlow, Patti Bryant, Allen Hill, Robbie Leigh Bond, Kathrine Webb, and Jeff Lovelace.

The Visitation for Autumn Dawn Bond will be Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home in Lucedale, Mississippi. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 4:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jeff Morris officiating. Interment will be at the Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Beaumont, Mississippi.
