Aron Chesney, age 52, passed away February 4, 2025. He was a 1990 graduate of George County High School. Soon after graduation, he joined on with Batson and Brown. He was a professional land surveyor who greatly enjoyed his work designing roads and bridges. He was a devoted husband, loving father, son, brother, uncle, dedicated co-worker and dear friend who will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Gail Chesney; maternal grandparents, Berlin and Ollie Mae Valentine; paternal grandparents, Aron V. and Arlie D. Chesney.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Stephanie Chesney; children, Claire Chesney and Braden Chesney; father, George (Constance) Chesney; brother, Andy (Leslie) Chesney; parents-in-law, Jimmy and Elizabeth Wheeler; sisters-in-law, Stacey Wheeler, Lynn Wheeler, Amanda Wheeler and Audrey Wheeler; nieces and nephews, Emily and Abby Chesney, Morgan Brown, Tori Hawk, Drake Finch, Drew Odom, Conner Odom, Karson Hyatt, Olivia Welborn, Brandon Alexander; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 5:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Brian Lewis and Bro. Warren Slay officiating.
