Andrew Woodard

Andrew William Woodard Jr, age 78, passed away August 4, 2025. He was born in Pascagoula, Mississippi on February 10, 1947. He graduated from George County High School in the class of 1965 and enjoyed playing for both the Football and Baseball teams, but excelled in football. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church. Andrew was a proud member of the Air National Guard and a member of the Masonic Lodge #422 in Gulfport. He will be greatly missed by all who were honored to know him.  

He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Sr and Lula Mae Woodard.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Andrew “Sonny” (Jennifer) Woodard, Jennifer (Lance) Young, and Gregory (Kelly) Woodard; grandchildren, Madison, Jackson, Hamilton, Michael, Jonathan, Luke, Isabel, and Elijah; sister, Nelda (Rodney) Hoke; mother of his children, Nella Woodard; numerous other relatives and friends.

The Graveside Service will be Saturday, August 9, 2025 beginning at 10:00 AM in Magnolia Cemetery with Bro. Hoyt Clark officiating.
