Alton Narvelle Howell, Sr.

Alton Narvelle Howell, Sr., age 61, passed away December 5, 2024. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, and dear friend.              

He is preceded in death by his parents, Cluis Narvelle “C.N.” Howell and June Dale Vise Howell; siblings, Patsy Brownlow, Vina Dale Flores, Cluis Gaines Howell, Robert Dale Howell; great grandchildren, Timothy Richard Poole, Corianna Charles, Baby P., Baby L., and Baby C.       

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 45 years, Pamela Howell; children, Alton Narvelle Howell, Jr., Jessie Ray (Jennilee) Howell, Missy Howell (Kevin) Poole, Ashley Howell, Robert Lee Howell, and Ashton Faith Howell,; grandchildren, Chanel Elizabeth Poole, Precious Nicole (Irby) Foster, Tyler Scott (Jenna) Howell, Kevin Jerry (Amberly) Poole, Cameron Deangelo (Kynzzi) Foster, Stormy Ann Marie Poole, Angel Marie (Travonte) Howell, Jessica Lauren Michelle (Conner) Gilmore, Jessie Lawrence Howell, Laura Betty Shetlin, Ava June Marie Howell, Henry Asher Ray Howell, Jesse Abner Ray Howell, Corbin Michael (Phebe Davida) Trest, Ethan Patrick (Katelynn) Trest; great grandchildren, Kaydance Jayde Culpepper, Iyana Braelyn Poole, Camden Shane Northcutt, Joshua Jamir (JJ) Irby, Aurora Velle Howell, Luna Trest, and Eleanor Trest; siblings, Ava Sue (Charles) Pendegrass, and Barbara Ann (Russ) Bexley; favorite niece, Tinymite; aunt, Tina Hodges; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who he loved dearly, and other relatives and friends who will cherish his memories and shared special bonds.         

The Celebration of Life Service will be January 9, 2025 at Moments Funeral Home beginning at 2:30 PM.
