Agnes Elaine (Chambliss) Hovatter

Agnes Hovatter, age70, passed away December 31, 2020. She worked for many years as a laundry assistant at Mayfair Cleaners in Moss Point. She enjoyed crocheting and fishing. She was a devoted wife and loving mother. Her sweet spirit will be greatly missed.        

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Baxter; parents, Robert and Mildred Chambliss.    

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Gerald Dewaine “Pete” Hovatter; son, Steven Baxter; step-son, Gerald Tracy Hovatter; brother, Charles Edward Chambliss and sister, Lynn Klouzal; numerous other relatives and friends.    

The Visitation for Agnes Hovatter will be Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The Graveside Service will follow beginning at 12:00 PM in McLeod-Magnolia Cemetery with Bro. Irvis Everett officiating.
