Agnes (Curry) Carter

Minnie Agnes Curry Carter, age 76, passed away July 1, 2021. She was a 1963 graduate of East Central High School. She was a faithful member of New Antioch Full Gospel Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, daughter, mother-in-law and friend. She wore all these titles proudly.                

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer James Carter; siblings, Robert “Bobby” Miller and Joann Daughtry; parents, James Andrew, SR. and Ethel Davidson, Curry.      

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Rose (Chester) Howell and Bernie (Lisa) Hinton; step-sons, Dale and Michael Hinton; grandchildren, Heather (Rod) Emerson, Hillary Vise, Joshua (Danielle) Hinton and Grace (Steven) Dahlman; great grandchildren, Preston Blayke Emerson, Paightyn Marie Emerson, Parker Lee Emerson, Jasmyn Christyne Vise, Keith “KC” Carter Vise, Jack Morgan Dahlman and Evanna Daisy “Busy” Dahlman; siblings, James Andrew “Buddy” (Kathy) Curry, Jr., Reby (Winfred) Tanner and Marion (Gary) McDonald; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other dear relatives and close friends.         

The Visitation for Ms. Agnes Curry Carter will be Monday, July 5, 2021 from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Heath Havard, Bro. Gary McDonald and Bro. James Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Howell Missionary Baptist Church cemetery.  Pallbearers include Joshua Hinton, Steven Dahlman, Jimmy Daughtry, Bobby Tanner, Kevin McDonald and Adam Morris. Honorary Pallbearers include Preston Emerson, Rod Emerson, John Jr. Daughtry, Jason Daughtry, Tim Hodges and Kevin Cronier.
