Robert "Bob" Lyda Obituary

Robert “Bob” Louis Lyda, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2019. A Marine, he fought two tours in Vietnam in 1969. He loved fishing, hunting, working on motor boats, his family and Life.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Lyda and Alma Reece; brother Charles Lyda and sister, Zula McKenzie.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Debbie Helton of Lucedale, two daughters, Becky (Michael) Woytek of Lucedale and Angie Harrison of Oregon; sister, Sue Bradley (Davis Nesbitt) of Saluda, North Carolina; six grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
