Glenda Sue Rowell

Glenda Rowell passed away April 30, 2019 at the age of 66. She was born to the late Mr. Glen Cooley and Ms. Avis Eubanks Gibson. She was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a hard-working individual. She enjoyed fishing, hunting and good round of BINGO. She will be greatly missed.            

She is preceded in death by her son, Jerry Leon Fortenberry; parents, Glen Cooley and Avis Gibson; step-father, Earl Gibson.   

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Clifton (Carey) Prine and Larry (Shannon) Fortenberry; grandchildren, Brittney (Greg) Brown, Larry (Destiny) Fortenberry, Jr, Tiffany Fortenberry, Amber Prine, Carly (Colby) Green, Preston Prine; four great grandchildren; siblings, Sharon (Wayne) McLeod and Harlen (Christine) Cooley; Christian sister, Ms. Pat Parker; numerous other relatives and friends.         

The Visitation for Ms. Glenda Rowell will be Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Moments Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Mark Warden officiating. Burial will follow in Rocky Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers include Larry Fortenberry, Jr., Greg Brown, Kelvin McLeod, Stewart McLeod, William Eubanks, Toby Crenshaw. Honorary Pallbearer will be Preston Prine.
